As a Release Manager in Limerick you too can help us drive payments at the speed of change.


Oversees all facets of multiple, concurrent, large and/or complex Agile releases, which might be transformational, have high priority and/or financial impact on both the business unit and ACI, in accordance with ACI and industry best practice program and project management methodology. Will have a solid understanding of scaling Agile, and understand the unique opportunities and challenges associated with organizing, facilitating, and continuously aligning a large software program with the guiding business strategy. 


Coordinates release planning and oversees the execution of plans across several Scrum teams. Monitors the releases from initiation through implementation, delivery, monitoring and into a business as usual operational status. Facilitates program-level processes and program execution, escalates impediments, manages risk, and helps drive program-level continuous improvement.


Responsible for planning and directing schedules, managing resource needs and monitoring budget / spending. Organizes cross-functional activities, facilitating decision making and actions, ensuring completion of each release on time, with agreed upon scope, within budget and of the highest quality, while managing escalation and issue resolution.



·         Understand and Adhere to all Corporate Policies to include but not limited to ACI Code of Ethics and Global Information Security.

·         Forward Plan the release windows and cycles across a portfolio

·         Facilitate release planning events 

·         Facilitate Scrum-of-Scrums

·         Manage risks and resolve issues that affect release scope, schedule and quality

·         Measure and monitor progress to ensure application releases are delivered on time and within budget, and that they meet or exceed expectations

·         Communicate all key project plans, commitments, and changes including requirements, schedule, and scope changes

·         Manage relationships and coordinate work between different Scrum teams at different locations

·         Encourages product architect and team collaboration 

·         Provides input on resourcing to address critical bottlenecks 

·         Works with product management, product owners and business owners to help assure strategy and execution alignment 

·         Reports status to stakeholders and senior management

·         Helps manage risk and dependencies 

·         Continually work towards making improvements in the release process



- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience

- 5+ years previous release and/or project management experience from within a software development environment.

- Experience using Agile project management tools

- Scrum Master Certified 
- Excellent leadership and organizational skills 
- Strong ability to understand technical issues at a high level 
Strong coaching and mentoring skills 
- Enjoys accountability 
- Strong verbal and written communication skills 
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills 
- Ability to operate as a change agent, influencing and driving action cross-functionally
