Summary

The Global Immigration and Mobility Manager is responsible for the strategic and operational acquisition and mobility support of all employees aligned, assigned, and/or seconded to ACI Worldwide, Inc. across locations and business units. This role is the subject matter expert on the full life-cycle processes and protocols related to a variety of non-relocation and relocation resourcing models, locations, and policies. In this role, the Global Immigration and Mobility Manager will collaborate with HR teams, hiring managers, business stakeholders, and acquisition team colleagues to facilitate and manage the entire process from identification, drafting and execution of documentation, through to repatriation.


Responsibilities:
  • Serve as strategic advisor and project manager for the global mobility program and oversee U.S. immigration program
  • Work closely with U.S Immigration team and outside immigration counsel in preparing appropriate immigration cases e.g. F-1, H1B, PERM, green card cases etc.
  • Develop and improve policies and procedures of the mobility process to meet business needs
  • Provide mobility-related expertise, consultation and cost estimates to local and home office HR partners and other key stakeholders
  • Manage the immigration (visa/work permit) services provided to authorized employees to ensure assignees have the required visa, paperwork and support
  • Partner with HR, Finance, Payroll and Legal for short and long-term assignees and seconders
  • Manage and coordinate day-to-day operations and relationships with external vendors
  • Ensure that delivery of services provided by external vendors is efficient and transparent to ensure complete satisfaction with new hires and transferees
  • Develop and administer methods to track and measure ROI
  • Work with the business and HR to maintain an up-to-date forecast of global mobility needs.
  • Work with Finance and local HR to ensure the proper cross-charge of expenses
  • Maintain and improve the process of tracking transfers and produce metrics for key stakeholders
  • Manage the company’s global relocation program through the support of a third-party relocation management consultant.
  • General oversight and initiation of employees’ relocation and temporary assignments and international taxation issues.
  • Negotiating contracts and managing efforts of company’s external vendors
  • Acting as knowledge expert to advise and educate stakeholders on appropriate actions to be taken relative to relocation policies; developing programs and recommendations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Understand and Adhere to all Corporate Policies to include but not limited to ACI Code of Ethics and Global Information Security.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5+ years demonstrated U.S. immigration/global mobility experience
 

Preferred Skills:

  • Prior vendor management experience
  • Experience handling complex employee relations and legal matters related to immigration and mobility matters
  • Must have a high level of proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills
  • Ability to work independently & collaboratively as an integral part of the HR Team
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously and independently
  • Must maintain sensitive and confidential information upholding ACI’s Code of Conduct and Business Ethics policy
